is instant krazy glue ok for gluing mushrooms to a rock and if so, how do you go about it? and do you do it underwater?

As long as it has cyanoacrylate in it, which i'm pretty sure krazy glue does, it's safe. However, mushrooms are quite slimy so gluing them tends to not work very well. You may want to get a closed container with some holes in it (for water flow), some rock rubble, and your shroom in it, and the mushroom will attach itself to the rock naturally.

Does it have any rock or sand or anything at all now?

I got one the other day that had nothing more than a few pieces of the sand on the bottom and it glued just fine to a small chunk of rock then I glued the rock to the reef.

They are slimy and hard to handle though so I recommend doing it over a small bowl outside of the tank for better control.

if the whole glueing thing dosent work make a loop with some cotton thread not too tight and lasso it down lightly to a rock it should start to naturally take a foot hold
i prefer tieing down, than i dont have to add an odd chemical to the water
