Critters in my fuge

Can anyone identify these critters? They are spawning like crazy in my fuge. They look like shrimp and move around in the same fashion. Nothing has worked its way up to the tank yet. Do i shit down sump and clean downstirs up or with they be ok? I have absolutely no idea how thet got in there eit

Those are Amphipods man, you want large populations of those :)

Once in a while they will get sucked up into your return pump and spit out into the tank, either as free fish food, or to help populate the DT.

Ulta is right. They are a sign of healthy tank and are good guys. Congrats!

I have never seen anything in my fuge ever. I would also not see how they would make it anywhere since there is a sponge over my return pumps inake to keep any stray bubbles out.

I do see them floating around my tank sometimes and they are in the rocks already.

Those are pods. They are good guys. And a sign of a healthy tank!

thanks, i was really starting to sweat those things. Do they get much bigger and what is DT?

Dude net them and drop them in your DT... watch your fish go crazy.
