I breed pods in my fuge. That's one of the main purposes of fuges. Easy to do, in fact, the pods come along unintentionally. Make sure you have a nice pod habitat: some live rock rubble and macroalgae. Whenever I've started out my fuges, I've bought a bottle of Tigger Pods (live pods) and dumped it in to kick start it.
I've also got a little baby brine shrimp hatchery kit that I've used before. I let them hatch in the container, then dump them into the main tank. The fish go crazy, but unless you turn off all your equipment, they'll get sucked up into the skimmer and powerheads, and make a slimy brown mess eventually.
