Cycling Issues

Ok so after removing fish my current readings are

Ammonia .25
Nitrate 80
Nitrite 10.0
Alk 260
PH 7.4

All this stuff went crazy once I removed the fish, also this is done with test strips. I do have a API test kit coming that is with drops. I do have it looks like some brown algae on my rocks growing but nothing bad. Should I just let the tank continue cycling or do anything else?

Just let it continue cycling and then retest when you liquid test kit. The brown stuff sounds like diatoms which are normal in new tanks and should go away on their own.

Which one should I get or should I get both, should I just place both of them in the middle compartment where the bio balls go?

Ok so I received my API test in the mail today and results are

Ph 8.3 "after adding marine buffer"
Ammonia .25
Nitrite 2.00
Nitrate 2.00

I also added my second circulation pump.

you shouldnt worry about the pH right now, because the tank is cycling the presence of ammonia and nitrite will lower the tested pH. When the cycle is complete, then test the pH
