Dead Urchin

Woke up this morning and my new tuxedo urchin was dead. Emerald crabs were having a nice little feist. Sucks it only lasted about a week. :pooh:

Sorry Dave that sucks. I got one yesterday from the Doctors. I hope it survives; it hasn't moved much since last night.

Thanks Dave. Mine didn't move much at all after I put it in. I acclimated it for 4hrs so I did it right. I'm guess it was probably on it's way out of the LFS and it didn't catch the signs(I have no idea what the signs are...ha)

Sorry to hear about your urchin. Sounds like you did everything right. Sometimes inverts don't fare well where there are large salinity/temp differences, but four hours of accimitization is about all you can do. Good luck with your 50g.
