there kinda hard to get rid of....
if there just on 1 rock u can probably pull the rock out and scrub it off
wear gloves though cuz i heard they can sting pretty bad and i think if u leave it, it can spread throughout ur tank and sting ur corals...

No, they are on all three of the rocks that I got with these fish. I added another piece of my own LR to that tank. Should I remove it before it gets them too?
I read that boiling water would do the trick. Does anything eat these things?

Those aren't the bad hydroids.Their actually kinda cool as they will give off a very faint glow if you can get the tank totally dark.
It the other hydroids ( can't remember the names right now ) that's bad and uncontrolable.
