Engineer Clown Gobie...Might have boyancy HELP

I found an ault 12" long engineer gobie free on craigslist. I went to get him and when the guy had him in the net, he literally flew out of the net and landed on the carpet directly behind the tank. It took about 5 minutes to get him. On the ride home he was fine, breathing perfect. But his breathing has got slower and he is just sitting on the bottom of the sand not moving much. Is it possible he is buoyant? Anything I should do to help increase his chance for surviving? I was going to get some stress coat but didnt want to jack my skimmer up for 48 hours.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying... buoyancy? All fish have buoyancy. That's just the ability to float and swim. Are you talking about a ruptured swim bladder?

He starting to move around but is real clumsy. he's not laying on his side or swimming sideways but he seems to be off balance a little. hopefully he pulls through
