My Feather Duster's feathers are getting shorter and shorter. One fine day I noticed they were half as long and yesterday they were a little shorter. I admit I skipped target feeding him for about a month. Anybody seen this?

You probably need to feed him again. I feed mine every other day or so and it is getting huge!

May be it's not coming out of the tube all the way, mine do that quite a bit.

Yeah but in the last few weeks it never comes out all the way -assuming that's what it's doing.

Do you have water flow directed at it? Might be too much flow :dunno:

The water flow is low to moderate. They seem to be getting even shorter.

We target feed him almost every day and the feathers are getting shorter. The feathers look like they are broken off at the ends. This is very unusual.

maybe its about to drop its head, ive had them do that, sometimes they grow back sometimes not. if the feathers are nipped at the ends, then you would think something was messing with it, dont know man, its kind of a difficult one, sorry I cant help you more.
