Finger coral question ?

Have had my finger corals for months now ...I do understand they shed their outer skin every now and then but when I added my new large Kenya tree specimen to my tank they closed up on me. I have read that Kenya trees like a little chemical war fair lol but was wondering is this a good mix ? Or should I not worry. Just weird the finger corals closed up a day after I introduced they Kenya tree.

They should be fine -- leathers will engage in some chemical warfare, but not enough to keep the finger leather closed.

As stated above the leather should be fine. It may take a few days to adjust. I have a Kenya tree that's about 7inches tall and a finger leather that's about 5inches tall and they've both been in my tank together for a year now they are both doing really good

Just an up date my leathers are still not out but the Kenya is doing great lol
