Frogspawn dropping babies?

I believe my frog spawn has dropped a baby frag. I had noticed a small piece hanging down from one of the heads for a few days and today it finally detached so I put what I believe to be a baby in my 3gal. I am kicking myself for not taking pictures while it was descending from the colony. The baby has its own little skeleton. I will post a picture of the frag in a minute.

Frogspawn shouldn't "drop" babies. Their skeleton should split into new heads. Either your cal is a little low and the skeleton wasn't strong enough or something broke off the new one on you. The latter would be my guess.
