Fuzzy Chiton yes or no?

I have a 300 gallon tank I just scubbed my rocks about two weeks ago but the algae is slowly coming back. I was reading about the fizzy chiton on reefcleaners web site and would like some input. Do they do a good job? How many should I add to my size tank?

I've tried fuzzy chitons a few times in my tank but they never lived long. With algae eating fish like the foxface, tang and angel they'll pick at the algae that grows in its back in the process stressing and killing it.

My not happen every time but I've killed about 4 on 3 separate occasions before I gave up on them.
