Getting Rid of that Cyano

So I got slime that I can't get rid of and some hair algae, I started running Chemi-Pure on Friday or so and I have been running a phosphate remover for about a week or so. Should I kill the lights for like 3 days? Will this get rid of it all?

I have a clam, will it be alright? I know you guys have said the corals will be fine.

Yeah,cut your lights off for 3 or 4 days.It wont hurt anything except the cyano and algae.
Try siphoning out as much as possible.

ive got it too. What stuff should I use to get rid of it. I put a poly filter in and im cutting my lights off.

The best way to get rid of it is to find out where the excess nutrients are coming from and get rid of them.

Up the water changes,run something to remove phosphates,and cut back on the lights.
