Green Dark Algae

Hi i have green darkish algae that looks like green lime coraline but idk any one know what it could be? :question: it started from 1 week ago i wanted to see what happened and it still growing and also i have short hair algae does any one know a CUC member for that? i dont want another fish :grumble:

I believe turbo snails will eat hair algae.

i dont like turbos i once had them and they die idk why i think they starve lol

Then get astraea, they are very hard workers.

This was like a tennis match.... with lilfish finally hitting it out of mandarin's reach LOL

Turbos get stuck upside down and die, too, mandarin. Why not just get a few of each?

just tell me for both how many i will make it equal

Get 10-15 of each and let them have at it. Also pull out as much as you can by hand. Do some water changes to remove excess nutrients to starve out the algae.

im trying to save money to buy salt and and bucket lol i earn money from dad :( i cant use his own money

how about 20 astraea? turbos are too big :(

20 will be just fine. It's better than none at all. They wont touch the long stringy stuff to you'll have to rip out as much as you can and keep it short enough for them to be able to eat it.

k thx ima pick some up when i go to the LFS and i dont have Long hair algae i have short ones they spread they dont grow tall :/ will they eat them?
