green slime

i am getting green/brown slime with bubbles.what is this?i went away for a week and my skimmer mest up and my salt level went way down.everything is still living but my rocks are covered in crap.any help?

Sounds like cyanobacteria.
Up the water changes,cut the lights off for 3 or 4 days,siphon out as much as possible,and run a good GFO.

I had that once but my tank is small compaired to yours. I sucked it out with a turkey baster. Shaz

Do bigger water changes, syphon up loose particles in water. Is that a real pic of yourself?

you can also get some chemi-clean after you siphoned most of it out. It'll kill off whatever you might have missed in your aquarium.

Beware, because after the first use, slime algae becomes resistant to ChemiClean and it will not be as effective again.
