Guys I just had a meltdown...

my surge protector fried. The one that ran the pump, powerheads and skimmer. I got everything plugged in unprotected except one powerhead and the skimmer...do you guys think ill be ok until i get out of work tomorrow to get a surge protector, or do i need to make an emergency run to wal mart?

you should be fine for a day as long as you have a decent pump circulating the water. This is extremely important.

as long as there is some flow i would not worry about it. just get yourself back up and running soon, but dont bust your butt to get it fixed emergency style

I've had road/construction projects outside my hsoue that turned the power on and off and it caused problems. If you have good reason to think something else will fry your equipment I'd get a surge protector otherwise hang loose.

You will be fine. When I upgraded I had everything in a tub with just a powerhead for a day.
