Reefing newb
Have had a 75 gallon fresh water tank for many years. It just always lacking something for me. I have always admired saltwater aquariums, but have thought I couldn't afford it. Well this fathers day I found a 29 Gallon Bio Cube on Craig's List for $150 included tank stand and Red Sea Prism Protein Skimmer. I added a 3" live sand bed and 25 lbs. of Live Fuji rock. I used Instant Ocean salt mix. Added submersible heater, digital temp gauge. Today I upgraded my moonlights to TrueLumen Blue Lunar LEDs. Great look and easy to install. Planning on ordering a Reef Keeper Lite tommorow with the temp, ph, and top off controller. Only 14 days into the cycle. Have future plans for many upgrades to the tank. Really looking forward to learning from you all.
