I am from the (aandtsociety.org.au). Our name is actually the Aquarium and Terrarium Society of Queensland.
Most of us these days are marine aquarium keepers, though they’re a few in the club with freshies and a couple of retile keepers.
What we are about is mainly social stuff, especially collecting our own marine species for our aquariums.
Most of us keep reef tanks.
Originally, when I first started a marine tank in the very late 70s I was mainly only into fish only and used an air uplift under gravel system..
Than this new thing called the trickle filter came to be trendy and started experimenting and I have not looked back since.
My main thing to indulge in is experimentation on what works with what and why.
I have just started to understand the Internet(sought of)and made a website for the club and I am seeing what is out there.
From what I have seen, there is a heap of knowledge to be gained and shared,which I hope we all can.
