Would a sand sifting starfish or Sand Sifting sea cucumber be good for cleaning the sand bed?

not the starfish, they starve to death in all but the largest of systems. A cucumber would be a good addition, just dont get a colorful. The colorful ones tend to be toxic if they die in the tank. I would also suggest a small army of nass snails, they should be safe from the snowflake
