Reefing newb
I had just one hitch-hiker sponge two months ago. It was about the size of a dime.It died after growing for a couple of months and I was sort of disapointed.
Now I have maybe hundreds. They are all across the bottom line of rocks and I'm sure they are also where I can't see. Tiny white sponges mostly 2-3 milimeters across. I know they are filter feeders which is good but are they planning a mutiny? They seem to be massing an army. I have plenty of room as of now but has anyone had these little Q-tips get out of control?
They would probably not show up well in a photo with my camera. But here is a pic from the web that looks the same.
