Id this Crab Please, Good or Bad

Can some one help me ID this one got him when doing a water change after the lights were out for a bit. Hope that is enough pictures.

Hes hairy with black pincers, so probably not good! Its a mythrax or xanthid crab of some sort probably a gorilla crab. Ditch it or toss it in the sump IMO.

Is He Good For Anything. Would the LFS give credit for him.

They would probably use him as food in their predator tank :shock:

Freaky looking. IMO crabs are bad. I took a chance with a xanthid crab before. He did good for about 6 months then every snail, and shrimp in my tank along with a fish came up missing over about a months time. I took him out and never had a problem after that.

He is good food for the Triggers! Especially the BIG ones.:death:

Yup! Gorilla crab. Bad news and he'll get much much larger. Trap him and get him out of there.
