is my waving hand dying?

BL1

.............
I can't tell if my blue waving hand coral is dying or not, none of the polyps seem to be opening. Here are a few pics so that maybe you can help.

how long have you had it and how long has it been like this? does it pulse regularly in your tank? it may be low iodine, or it may just be irritated at something in the wter... microbubbles sediment etc

or it may just be sleepy... mine does this everynight when the lights o off... and sometime if i extend the cycle for viewing it will do it early before the lights go off.

I'm not sure how long it's been like this, I was gone for 2 months and when I camE back on Sun. It looked like that and hasn't gone back to normal since

It might just be pouting... My gsp has done that... What are your water params and what lights are you using? Also did anyone watch them?! Did they notice this?

Have you checked your water parameters since you've been back. I'd assume something bad happened to your water in the 2 months you were away.

The water params should be ok since the rest of my corals are doing great. But I'll have to check them when I get done eating.

Thats one of those corals thats either gonna thrive or die and it dont seem to matter how great your water is.
That being said.Since it was doing good before you left,I think its probably just pissed about something.
