Koralia Nano

im wondering if the koralia nano 425's would be too small for a 55 gallon. im looking at them instead of the evolution series because they are smaller @ 2" x 3-3/4" and the evos are 2-7/8" x 5-3/4". i know they are only rated for 30 gallons but with 4 of these smaller nanos i can still get 1700GPH which is 30.9 times turnover plus my overflow. will these lil buggers suffice or do i need some big stronger currents in my tank?

Less powerheads = less stray electric current in your tank!!! If you do go with 4, buy a "grounding probe" to reroute some of that stray electricity.

i have 2 koralia 1050 and a 750 in my 150 gallon running on
there smartwave thingy and that still is'nt enough. these pumps
really are weak pumps. The 2 1050's only seam to be able to reach
the half way point of the tank

2 1050's and a 750 is 2850GPH which for a 150g tank is only 19 times turnover rate. Even tho they are smaller with 4 i could still achieve a 30 times per hour turnover rate. i understand the potential for stray electricity but does everyone really think in combination they will still lack the punch i need.

if anyone has the koralia evos could you post what models and how they are working out for you.
