Thanks for the reply but I am confused. The light would work for a reef tank?

the reef capable marineland LEDs are good for small tanks (id stick with 30 gals or under), but the double bright and single bright arent enough to keep corals.

The text in your post shows the "LED Double Bright light", but clicking the link takes me to the Marineland Reef Capable LED.
Those are two different products.
The Double Bright does not provide the correct illumination for corals in a reef tank setting.
The Reef Capable LED is one advertised to have proper light for corals, but most people who have used them only reported good results with tanks that are less than 16" deep.
For deeper tanks, you might have some issues getting the light to the lower part of the tank.
