Lets play...ID THIS CORAL???

Picked up some new corals from a tear down a friend did. a 22 head Candy cane:^:. 13 head pink tip frogspawn:Cheers:.bright orange mushroom:mrgreen: (size of a softball) and a ???? Please id. It is bright green the size of a basketball. (pipe or star polyps???? maybe???) Also what do you think these items are worth???/(want to know if i was ripped off.) Thanks in advance:bounce::bowdown:

i would say around 40 bucks for one that big but every store is different

That's a beautiful colony of Green Star Polyps. I think my LFS would have charged closer to $75 for one of that size.

If you even lucky enough to fine one.Most here maybe has 2-4 heads.

Geez, if that GSP is worth $75, I have $1000 worth in my tank!

What I'd suggest you do: Take each of those corals and frag them in half or thirds. Keep a part, and sell the rest back to the LFS. It will grow back in no time, and you'll have been able to trade in for a few new corals on top of that.
