light schedules how do you run yours

wanted to start a thread with some useful information. I have always been curious how everyone runs there light cycles to see if i've been running mine somewhat like i should.

this year i have been running both t5 fixtures the same( nova extreme pro, tx5 aquactinics)
8 a.m. actinics come on
9:30 a.m. daylights come on
5 p.m. daylights go off
9:30 p.m. all lights off

is this plenty good or should i stretch out daylight running time, i usually wait until cooler weather before i run daylights longer. thought this would be a good thread for new hobbyist also.

I run all my lights on for 10-12 hours. But mine don't have separate control for actinics and daylights.

My lights are on 4 seperate timers. 1 for the actinics and 1 for each of the 3 MH.
Noon: VHO Actinics come on
1 PM: left side MH comes on
1:30 PM: center MH comes on
2 PM: right side MH comes on
8:30 PM: left side MH shuts off
9 PM: center MH shuts off
9:30 PM: right side MH shuts off
10 PM: VHO Actinics shut off

My tank is near north facing windows so it get some ambient light in the mornings before the tank lights start to come on.

11:00PM actinics goes off.
