Is bigger always better with lighting, I'm want to start getting into corals. I started looking at lighting, T5.. 4 or 6 bulbs?, and what should I be looking at when it comes to metal halide. I cant afford led, so out of t5 or metal halide, what would be better. Also I dont want a light that will not allow me to get cetain corals.

A 6 bulb t5 fixture over a tank 90 gals or less will let you keep anything you want, nems, clams, all corals etc. If you are looking at larger, deeper tank I would go with some sort of metal halide setup.

+1 lil fish...I'd go with a t-5 setup.

I agree a nice t-5 setup will work fine over the tank..
