Limpet?

Came home from work and saw this guy sitting on top of the rock spitting his baby making juice into the water. Not a very clear photo but he started to take off the second we found the camera.


Edit: doubting the limpet guess a bit. Pictures that I see don't show really what I was looking at. It had a distinctive head portion with two feelers out front. The underside was speckled with white from what I saw. Didn't get a real good look at him but I don't THINK I saw the little shell that you see with limpets?

it looks like a keyhole limpet to me head wise and description wise... you probably won't ever see the shell on a limpet, they tend to cover it up with their bodies :) I have a few and they like to hide. Good algae cleaners... see if you spot him anymore and grab some more pics, but i'm thinking its prob a limpet

That is actually a black stomatella snail.One of the good guys,feeds on algae.
