List your additives!!!!!

It can get really confusing trying to figure out which additives our tanks need. Every bottle says there product is a necessity for healthy growing corals and fish. Please tell us if your tank is SPS, LPS, or a mix and which additives you use and how often you use them so we can all learn something.

I have all LPS

I just started using a Seachem Amino Acid and trace element supplement twice a week
I also use Marine Snow which is a plankton diet maybe every 1-2 weeks

Arm&Hammer baking soda
DowFlake calcium chloride
MagFlake (Magnesium chloride hexahydrate) and Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate)

I make the 2-Part DIY supplements in 1 gal jugs. I add 1 cup of alk solution (Arm&Hammer) and 1 cup of calcium (DowFlake) every day. When I finish a 1 gal jug of each, I add 1 cup of mag solution.

Im lightly stocked so nothing, just water changes. Havent lost any corals yet. Only fish.

I like the way my tank responds to the Brightwells products.Plus they dont cost me any thing but the effort to help a few customers at the LFS.
