Live Rock ?

Would it be harmful if when I'm cleaning my tank if i tank 1 of the live rock's out to shake the sand off it. Ill be doing a water change at the same time was going to take it from the tank to the drained water bucket and shake it off.

I don't think it would hurt...I would take it out and put it in the old water bucket and shake it

maybe only keep it out of water for seconds

I;ve taken my rock out and set it on a towel for up to 10 min before.. as long as it stays wet you're alright.
