Reefing newb
I want to add this to my 90 gal display tank both for reducing nitrates as well as creating a natural look. I had a small amount of caulerpa prolifera in the 55 and liked the way it looked. It was also a great spot for the pods to hang out. I have a regal tang and he picked at the caulerpa on occassion but didn't bother it much.
Got a few questions:
1. Online resource for buying - who has the best selection?
2. Do plants need to be quarantined?
3. Are there any that I need to avoid?
4. Any suggestions for plants that the tang will not be interested in?
5. Any adverse effects to the tank that I should know about?
I'm sure there are more things to consider and I'm hoping that others will chime in on this subject. Any advice is welcome!
