Marcs new frag project.

Well as I was looking at the two 20's I was using for frags I just wasnt happy with the size of things. So decided I needed a new project( hey whats one more)... Picked up a 75 gallon and a 125 starting the 75 first then upgrade it to the 125 down the road ( when funds allow for new lighting for my display then move the old lights over to the 125).. Paid 100 bucks for the pair ( plus I had to help him clean his tanks), 125 came with just the tank and the 75 was tank, stand, and top, and just regular lighting, and fluval 404 filter.. Started setting up the 75 today, few picks

the two old 20's one will be new sump and the other is going to be the refugium for it...
will be nice easy plumbing job for this setup not going to do anything elaborate for the frags.

right now the frag tank just has some few different kinds of zoas, 4 different types of acros, star polyps, few heads of candy cane, birdsnest I fragged out of the main..

Sounds like a good plan! And are you planning on selling any of those frags at some point? If so, you and I might have to talk ;)

going to sell them all once I get it up and running right. except the ones I really want in the display..
So may never sell any at the rate I keep changing my mind with things.. :frustrat:

he has about 3000 gallons of tanks so the cleaning took awhile but gave me also 50 pounds of liverock and a couple zoa frags for the help.. took all day yesterday to get it done..

trust me I would have given him a hand for free (What he has for coral is amazing) so what he did was very unexpected...

Thanks Erin.. :D
Will update as It gets put together, Hopefully the sump will be hooked up before the end of the week then move the frags over and then setup the refugium..

couple new coral I grabbed for the new tank..
star polyp, just over 4 inch

there is a mix of orange and green on it..

fragged a few of these to make a multi rock.. green, reds and orange, about 25 heads on it.. went a little crazy on the glue..:grumble:
