Just got home a few minutes ago, and couldn't wait to upload pics. He's 2 1/2 inches long..beautiful colors..He's acclimating now :) Oh, and he's a peacock mantis shrimp of course.

Yep, I'm aware of their problem with high lighting and their shell. I have a really weak light, and the bulb is kinda old also...But I gave him plenty of tunneling with pvc and lots of rocks to get away from the light :)

Much better day today.
He's come out of his cave and started exploring his new home.
Also noticed that there are 3 turbo snail shells and 1 hermit crab shell outside his cave..and nothing in the shells. haha

Here's a video of him gettin his food today.
I think he's going to molt soon, he's starting to take rocks and shells near his home and close it off. I might miss it..I'm going out of town tomorrow, till sunday night :(

Well, it was too good to be true.
He was healthy and doing great, then i had to go out of town for 3 days. I came back, and my dad said he didnt see him wednesday, but saw him tuesday and he wouldn't eat. It was about his time to molt, it's been over a month since I've had him. Looked behind the tank today, and he had gotten out some how.
