Well I got the MH lighting going ,but I had a little temp problem that Ironman helped me with ( thanks to him again).Know when I get ready to get the refuge going again the temp starts to rise again .It has to be from the lights over the refuge .Now to the question .Can I run the lights over the refuge at night when the MH's are off , and if I can how long should the light cycle be 7-8 hours ?All that is in the refuge is some cheato.

You can put your refuge lighting system on an opposite light cycle from the main system. many do. the length of time could correspond to the length of time main system lights are off. this will also help to keep oxygen levels up at night when it is used in the main system with lights out.

The increased oxygen levels or decrease in CO2 john mentioned will also help keep your PH more stable.
