1st I will assume when you say HQI you are referring to a DE (double ended) bulb, even tho it actually refers to the ballast which is a magnetic pulse start ANSI M80. A pulse start ballast can run SE(single ended) or DE bulbs. Most manufacturers use electronic ballasts in thier fixtures and they can fire any type of bulb.

So, here's a few examples of PAR (measured in PPFD) of a few different bulbs.
XM 10K SE - 115 PPFD
XM 10K DE - 95 PPFD
SPS 10K SE - 90 PPFD
Hamilton 10K DE - 66 PPFD
Coralvue 10K SE - 66 PPFD
