Moving Clownfish

I am moving my clownfish to my dorm tomorrow and it is about a 4 hour drive. Could i put them in bags and put them in a cooler to keep them alive? Or should i try to put them in a bucket with a powerhead? I would prefer bags.

Thanks

I wouldn't put rock in the bucket with them. The rock will shift as you drive and could crush the fish.

Biff is right. It's not a good idea to transport fish and rock in the same bucket. Too many things can go wrong and cause the fish to be crushed.

I wouldn't think you'd need a powerhead, though, considering all the sloshing around that the water will do in the car anyway.

in the cooler without rock, they should be fine. Buckle the cooler in though, you never know when someone isn't paying attention and a hard jam on the brakes can send it flying onto the floor.
