Wondering how aggressive basic mushrooms can be? I have a mushroom that is about to split and has moved itself pretty close to my duncan, which has appeared unhappy for a few days. Noticed today that the 2 heads of the duncan that are closest to the mushroom are completely closed, not sure how long they've been like that since that is the side that faces away from the glass. The mushroom is a little bumpy in texture but otherwise looks like just a typical mushroom - otherwise I can't tell you the type (its not a ricordia or fuzzy mushroom). Could it be stinging my duncan?

It could be releasing some chemical warfare on the duncans. You could try running some carbon or moving the Duncan and see if that helps.

Mushrooms can definitely bother other stuff. I bet that is the cause.
