When I feed my fish I use a meat baster. I first thaw my frozen food in RO water, while in a small, fine mesh media bag. When I try to suck the food out it won't stay in the baster. It falls back into media bag before I can even get the baster to the tank.
Is there a device that can be used for more direct feeding of fish?

i just put the cubes in a glass and melt them then dump them in the tank, for target feeding i do the same thing except i use a baster and as soon as i suck everything in to the baster i do a quick flip of the wrist and turn the baster upside down so all the food falls into the bulb

I wish some companies would make more specialized "tools" for us reefers! Seems like we improvise ourselves most of the time.

I use these for spot feeding corals. The food stays put until you push the plunger. You obviously don't need to purchase the needles. The hole in the plastic syringe is just slightly larger than a #2 pencil lead.

Melt your food
Rinse it in RO water
Suck up the food in the syringe
Target feed your corals
