New Addition! Railway Goby

Just picked up this fella today! Never seen one of these before and had a bit of a hard time locating him by Google. But he's a new sleeper goby to help keep my substrate clean. Here he is still floating. About to release him into the general population.

Fortunately, I have a canopy, so I don't think he'll end up as a fish stick on the floor.

Never heard of them either, but seeing it, I can see why they call them that. Neat looking fish. good luck with him

Thanks. He's a sleeper goby, so he performs the same tasks as a diamond goby. He's about 3.5 inches long with a nice big mouth and set of gills to sift big mouthfulls of sand. I really like his coloring and he seems to gbe getting along well enough with the current resident diamond.
