New corals

Greetings again. have a small Q? I got some mushrooms, green leather coral, and some a candy cane coral. i allowed them to float for hour, then slowly introduced water. i left for work and come back and my water has a brown haze to it any idea? i sifted the sand slightly and i put 5 small blue legged hermits in also... any ideas?

about a week ago they were ammonia- 0 nitrite-0 nitrate less than 5 ppm and pH 8.2 salinity 1.023.....

Take your readings again. Your salinity is a bit low, I'd shoot for 1.025.
