I was looking at one of my ricordeas in my 28g today and it's gotten huge since I bought it. Well, I noticed a new mouth thats grown too, I'm wondering how long does it usually take for a ric to split once it has a second mouth?

It can take it anywhere from a week to a couple of months to actually split.

They take a long time to split once they get a new mouth. Yote is right -- in my experience, it can vary.
