New to the pond:)

My boyfriend and I are looking forward to our bamboo shark hatching any day now. This will be out second one. Our first baby started off great and then we were given some advise way too late and the shark had already developed red spots on his belly.
I am not making that mistake again. I have been doing research and found little on what to do when they are first born. He will be in a tank by himself with lighting on timers for proper day cycles. There is some live rock in there for a "cave" so he can have a hiding spot. My question is what vitamins do they need right away? What is the care for the first month?

Hello and Welcome!

I think you need to spend some time searching the forums for "shark" you will get a lot of information. We have one very knowledgeable member concerning them. However, the tanks you have are going to be too small really fast.

I have been reading different things throughout the day. He will only be in the 120 gallon for about 8 months. The new tank will be ready for him by then. :)
