??? On My Live Rock

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could help me ID this new stuff growing on my live rocks. I have attached a picture. I think 1 is coraline alge but I am a newby so I dont know. Thanks for the help.

#1 looks like coralline, and #2 and #3 look like sponges to me.

Are the sponges good bad or indeferant??

Also is there any way to figure out what kind of sponges they may be or will I just have to wait?

Indifferent. They are reef safe. Filter feeders. They usually grow in darker areas of the tank. They look like "pink sponges" to me. That's what they're called.

there is no harm to your tank. If you end up getting any angelfish in your tank, they are likely to snack on it.

I would agree but all of it is new. As in it was not there and now it is
