ORA Mandarins

You can't really tell them apart easily as juveniles. But as they get older, the male will develop a long spike on his dorsal fin.
 
The whole idea of them eating prepared foods is great but the real winner out of this whole idea is that they are captive bred. Cudo's to you Dennis for choosing livestock that didn't originate from the ocean. With such a delicate fish with a high mortality rate this is of dire importance. Best of luck with them and be ready to gets some gut loaded brine into the tank if its needed.

Those Mandarins are stunning, I'm holding off on adding any more fish for 6 more months so I can add a Blue Mandarin to a tank with a good pod population.
