PH level

Hey, my current PH level won't move from 7.9-8 even though I've done water changes and used marine buffer (seachem) which is suppose to raise the ph to 8.3. What could be the causes

You may have a lot of CO2 in your tank, which will cause a low pH level. Do you have a lot of water movement in your tank? Do you have a lid on your tank? Do you have anything breaking the surface tension of the water and mixing the air and water at the surface?

how may powerheads are in your tank and how much suface breakage do you have?

I actually have two powerheads (60 gallon tank) and egg crete cover to allow gas exchange
