Hey Ive been told I need to bring my ph up. What level is optimal and what is the best way to do it, I have seen carbonate alkalinity raiser, is that ok?

even tho alkalinity buffer raises ph slightly i wouldnt use it for that purpose. give this a try ph buffer but a word of caution...raise you ph very slowly. if you need more detailed info check out the helpful articles

You did not say what your alkalinity or dkh was. if low you will want to use a two part additive such as C-balance or Kent Marine Tech. Good luck.

8.0-8.3 is in the right ballpark use a type of ph buffer to increase your ph. But you also need to find out why your ph has dropped and solve that issue as well.

Keep in mind your pH will be lower at night than during the day.
