What does everybody know about Pink Anthias'? I'm looking for information particularly on their swimming habits- are they fairly active fish or do they like to hang out on the rocks?

Any input on these fish is very much appreciated!

Thanks! :D

They are very active fish with very high metabolisms. They are recommended for mature systems that have lots of pods and other things for them to eat otherwise you'll have to feed them 2-3 times a day.

all of mine did not like living in my tank and jumped out. i found one behind
the tank and the other about four feet away.

Are they shy at first? We purchased two and when the lights are out they are pretty much out of sight, but when the lights come on they are out and about. One of them does tend to hide in the rocks, and my cleaner shrimp is loving both of them!

Many fish will find a hiding spot in the rock work at lights out. In nature, this is to avoid night predators that would easily consume sleepy fish that stayed out in the open.
