Pistol shrimp safety

Hey guys. I bought a Benny and want to pair him with a pistol shrimp but I seem to get mixed opinions of the pistol shrimps aggressiveness

towards what? The blenny or other inhabitants? I'm not sure they pair with blennies, I believe its mostly gobies that they pair with

Also, its like clowns hosting an Anemone - just because you have both in a tank does not mean that they will automatically pair up

As far as other inverts go, I have not had any issues from my pistol shrimp. His pops are annoying as hell in the middle of the night though, which is when he pops most often

um i may be completely wrong but i thought it was gobies that pistols paired with

eighter way just like with anemones and clowns its not a guarantee , their are some gobies that pair more easily with them but still no guarantee

i have one and yeah he gets agressive when other fish, shrimps or anyting gets near his hole but hell only come out and make himself big , not as bad as a CBS

Yeah. Sorry I meant goby. And I meant towards other inhabitants. I don't want ANOTHER shrimp terrorizing my tank. Lol

The pistol shrimp should be fine with your tank inhabitants. They are not normally aggressive towards fish.

I'm thinking towards future inhabitants. Coral fellow shrimp And what not. Will he take out a camel shrimp?
