Powerfilter Suggestions

I want a Biowheel powerfilter with three chambers for mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration (carbon) for my 20L but there are so many products out there. Does anybody have preference and experience with certain brands? or Reccomendations?

Unless you clean them pretty frequently, those things turn into huge nitrate factories. You would be much better served to get a good skimmer instead.

Okay, sounds great! Besides liverock and livesand for biological filtration, is there any need for mechanical filtration?

nope, and on a 29 gallon you really dont even need a skimmer. Doing regular water changes is really one the best things you can do to take care of your tank.
