Protein Skimmer vs Phosphate Reactor

Hi.

Does a protein skimmer cleans also a phosphates or i have to add phosphate reactor to my water line?

A protein skimmer may remove some phosphates from the system through skimming some dissolved organics out of the system, but it should not be considered a main source of phosphate removal

+1 North...another way to remove phosphates is to get some microalgae, like cheato.
