Purple dotty back mystery

During the tank transfer from the 40 to the 90, we lost and I do mean lost our dotty back. We removed all the rock, coral and inverts into buckets. My hubby and son mainly handed off the stuff to me and I put it into buckets. Then they went to take the fish out much easier to catch with most of the other stuff out. She was nowhere to be found. She must have been hidden in a rock somehow. When we put the rock and coral in the new tank. All of a sudden, she swam out from somewhere in the new tank. Weirdest thing.

My Red Jewel Nano Blenny did the same thing. She rode the rocks from tank to tank, then survived the minicycle caused by the move. Sounds like we got some ninja fish!
